About the Event
A queer celebration and competition showcasing the best of the alternative performance scene of Naarm.
altimate.SHOWDOWN is a competition spanning many underground performance styles - Drag, Burlesque, Sideshow, Comedy, Music, Performance Art, Dance entertainers (AND MORE!), with a focus on showcasing diversity, queer excellence and local performers!
40 performers will all perform shows of their creation and compete to earn the title of Champion and walk away with the grand prize.
Taking place across 5 nights in July/August at Stay Gold Melbourne in the heart of Brunswick, each night will be hosted by Tilly Capulet and feature our head judge Ruby Slippers as well as more local legends and the producers of altimate.SHOWDOWN!
